Cooling system design
Cooling channel design: In the mold design stage, reasonable design of cooling channels is the key. The cooling channels should be evenly distributed to ensure that all parts of the mold can be effectively cooled. The layout and size of the channels should be optimized according to the geometry of the mold and the casting conditions to ensure the uniformity and efficiency of cooling. The cooling channels can adopt a serpentine layout to increase the contact area of the coolant and improve the cooling effect.
Coolant selection: Commonly used coolants include water, oil or their mixtures. Water cooling systems are widely used due to their high efficiency and low cost, but they need to be protected from the corrosive effects of water. Oil cooling systems are suitable for applications with high temperatures or special requirements. They have high cooling efficiency, but they are more expensive and complex to handle. The selection of a suitable coolant should take into account the working conditions and economy of the mold.
Temperature control equipment and technology
Temperature control system: An efficient temperature control system is the core to ensure stable mold temperature. Modern temperature control systems are equipped with temperature sensors and automatic adjustment devices to monitor and adjust the temperature of the mold in real time. The thermostat can adjust the flow and temperature of the coolant according to the actual temperature to ensure that the mold operates within the set operating temperature range.
Thermocouples and sensors: Use high-precision thermocouples and temperature sensors for real-time temperature monitoring. These devices can provide accurate temperature data to help adjust the working state of the cooling system. Data loggers can record temperature change trends, conduct long-term data analysis, and optimize temperature control strategies.
